One of Ashley’s most significant milestones was her role as an Employment Coordinator at the nonprofit that once sheltered her. In this position, she forged partnerships with local shelters and youth centers, bringing critical employment services to those in need. This experience strengthened her skills in relationship-building and program development, and underscored her commitment to vulnerable communities.

As Program Director for Roads to Success, Ashley oversees partnerships and city contracts, working to deliver impactful programs to underserved youth. A standout moment in Ashley’s second year with RTS was witnessing her interns collaborate with New York State district attorneys and the DEA, developing ideas to bridge the gap between youth and law enforcement during a period of social tension. This experience sparked newfound confidence in the interns, some of whom have since pursued careers in law, with the courage to engage with city leaders on pressing issues.

In her free time, Ashley finds joy in staying active through community volunteer work, competitive board games, yoga, and exploring New York City’s hidden gems with her partner and children.
