Megan Baumbach brings a unique blend of financial expertise and a deep commitment to education access to the Roads to Success Associate Board. A graduate of Notre Dame, Megan began her career at Evercore's Technology Investment Banking team, advising executive management teams on M&A transactions. She now serves as an Associate on Blackstone's Corporate Private Equity team, where she collaborates with portfolio companies in the technology and healthcare sectors, focusing on growth strategies, operational initiatives, and investment analysis.

Megan's passion for education advocacy stems from a personal experience—helping her younger brother navigate remote learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. Seeing firsthand the impact of supplemental learning resources on elementary school students, she became dedicated to expanding educational opportunities. This led her to teach a violence prevention curriculum in Indiana and later get involved with Roads to Success after moving to New York. Combining her fundraising skills with her passion for education, Megan is proud to support RTS’s mission of empowering youth.

Beyond RTS, Megan continues her commitment to education as an industry advisor for Saint Bakhita’s, an all-girls boarding school in Uganda. She played a key role in developing the school's operating model, helping hundreds of young women graduate with vocational and financial skills to launch their own businesses.

In her free time, Megan enjoys spinning and is excited to race for RTS in the Five Boro Bike Tour this spring. She also loves cooking and baking—though her tiny NYC apartment has made that a bit of a challenge. Whenever possible, she travels back to New Jersey to cheer on her brother at his sports games, a reminder of the transformative power of education and mentorship in shaping young lives.
