Born and raised in Harlem and the South Bronx, Scorpio Rogers, Ph.D., has built a remarkable career in both the computer industry and academia. After earning a BA in Computer Science from Dartmouth College, Scorpio spent over a decade working in the tech sector while simultaneously founding and managing several businesses, employing young people along the way. His passion for education led him to transition into academia, where he has held roles such as Business Department Chair, Associate Dean, and Vice President at multiple institutions.

Scorpio’s academic credentials are impressive, with an MBA in Strategy and Entrepreneurship from Columbia University, an MS in Applied Research from the University of Denver, and a Ph.D. in Business Administration from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. A staunch advocate of education and lifelong learning, Scorpio believes in its power to provide financial and career stability.

His journey with Roads to Success began through a partnership with Mercy University, where he helped pilot a program allowing high school students to take a college-level cyber-security course. Scorpio remains dedicated to creating pathways for RTS youth to pursue higher education.

In addition to his professional endeavors, Scorpio is passionate about entrepreneurship and mentoring, especially for high school-aged students and young Black males. His personal passions include his family, particularly his three children, and a variety of hobbies such as cycling, collecting comic books (with a collection of around 30,000), and being an avid New York Jets fan, where he holds season tickets.
